Utilize a Pneumatic Forklift
Pneumatic forklifts are common in shipping and warehouse operations. Also called pump trucks or pallet trucks, they are used to transport things and materials around on wooden pallets utilizing metal forks mounted on a wheeled counterweight. The counterweight has a pump which lifts the forks off the ground. A pallet truck is intended to be operated by a single individual.
To be able to avoid loosing control while lifting heavy loads, pallet trucks should always be operated carefully. Machine should be checked before operating. Clear the wheels area of any obstructions. Check that the handle could turn smoothly. The pallet must be stacked carefully to be able to guarantee that nothing would fall off during transportation.
On the end of the pallet truck's handle, squeeze the level located on the inside of the metal loop to be able to lower the forks and release the air in the pump. The forks can then be pushed into the slots of the pallet. The forks must be at the center in order to guarantee even distribution of the pallet's weight across them. Lift the forks from the ground by pumping the handle of the pneumatic lift until the pallet has completely cleared the ground. Do not raise the pallet very high or the forklift could unbalance.
Move the pallet by pulling on the handle and then dragging it behind you. It is truly dangerous to push the pallet ahead of you as the thrust can cause it to go out of control. Take turns slowly and don't try to stop suddenly. Stop gradually, squeeze the lever, and the forks would lower to the ground. Finally, remove the forks from the pallet by pulling them out. Return the pallet truck to its permanent place.
