Employers are responsible for making certain that employees who are using the forklift are properly trained in risks and safety. Never let anyone on a forklift who isn't trained to use the forklift. Your business should develop and post in a visible place all forklift safety procedures.
Workers must have a positive attitude when they go through training, instead of doing it just because they are required to. You as the employer must help employees understand the importance of proper training. Let them realize that they can injure or kill not only themselves, but other people, if they make mistakes. It is up to you to make certain that all your employees go through training seriously.
