Operator Environment
Operators have an efficient and safe place to work from in the Spirit Delta cab. The specific design of the cab comes as a result of extensive research into the operators working conditions. The main goal is to be able to provide optimum visibility with no forward corner posts and large glass areas unobstructed to keep the field of vision clear. The instrumental panel is ergonomically designed and is extremely comfortable and gently rounded. This particular area has also been designed with an unobstructed clear view of all essential information, in order to keep the operator functioning as efficiently as possible.

Thanks to the insulated mounting to the chassis, overall noise levels and vibration levels are kept low. The controller's seat and the hydraulic controls are all individually adjustable to be able to maintain an optimum working position. Moreover, the steering wheel and related panel is adjustable for maximum comfort. There are 2 multi-functioned ergonomically positioned and simple to operate levers which are provided for the horn, window washers, gear changing and windscreen wipers.

To guarantee a comfy cab temperature for the operator, a ventilation/heating unit provides incoming air which is replaced by an air filter. This is easily replaceable and the unit slides out afterwards to make serviceability an easy option. The machine has a robust 3-speed fan for defrosting, recirculation, cooling and heating. As an extra option, air conditioning can be fitted.

Instrumentation
The instrument panel in the spirit delta cab has been logically grouped and are all accessible. The standard instruments that comprise: low brake pressure, high coolant temperature, low engine and gearbox lubrication oil pressure, warning lamps, applied parking brake and high gearbox oil temperature. Furthermore, gauges display values for gearbox oil pressure, engine coolant, fuel quantity and operating time.

Amongst the main options the 8 to 10 tonne trucks can be outfitted with is the ECS or Electronic Control System monitoring. This enables for easy supervision of the unit. All of the monitoring functions are handled by the ECS and incorporated by this system. The full text display and the single warning lamp show any errors which happen and their current values.
