Narrow aisle lift trucks work by increasing the ratio of the storage space to the aisle width. Yale features the double reach NDR and the single reach NR units for aisle widths of eight to ten feet. The Narrow Aisle trucks made by Yale use best-in-class ergonomics and offer a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment that has various control handle and stance configurations.
NDR & NR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: To meet a wider range of operations, there are numerous control handle configurations such as the aft stance, the choice of fore, and the side-stance options.
AC Motor Technology: The AC motor technology offers fast lifting speeds along with powerful deceleration and acceleration. It has been made for quick plugging in order to facilitate more responsive directional changes which combine to increase the amount of cargo transported in a shift.
Mast & Reach Assembly: The mast reach assembly consists of trunion mounting and tapered roller bearings. This increases the rigidity and durability of the mast; along with the reach assembly carriage which are reinforced for long life and the gusseted rear frame weldment.
Power Lowering: Yale provides industry leading lowering speeds and these uploaded speeds really enhance the overall throughput and productivity.
Regenerative Lowering: The regenerative lowering is a terrific feature that maintains lower oil operating temperature while reducing battery changes per shift.
Electronic Steering: In order to greatly reduce energy, the electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps. The operator can adjust the steering tiller and the steer effort is actually technician adjustable so as to reduce operator fatigue. In the start-up process, drive tire centers automatically initiate.
Order Selectors: Order pickers are also known as narrow aisle and very narrow aisle trucks. These machines are made for the manual handling of racked loads that are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors lift both the cargo and the operator to its required height. This height can be over 30 feet. Similar with most turret trucks they are normally rail or wire guided when utilized in very narrow aisle applications.
