End Control Forklifts
The stand-up end control lift truck is an extremely flexible equipment and is common in the material handling business. These equipment have superior performance features which are somewhat similar to sit-down electric lift truck models.
These forklift units are great for warehouse environments which have limited space. The space needed to operate these machines are less than the three-wheel electric forklift truck needs. These machines are an excellent alternative for applications that require frequent off and on access, as their stand-up design is an exceptional characteristic.
The reach truck is a loading equipment used by various businesses that maintain a storage facility which involves the arrangement of finished goods on pallets and supplies that are stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides easy and safe retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent alternative for people who prefer to store pallets of products they do not require yet in a safe and efficient way.
The basic reach truck unit is equipped with an out-rigging mechanism situated on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping forks that move up and down are mounted to the out-rigging. The blades also have a hydraulic setup that enables the operator to pick up the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This particular design not just gives a lot more balance to the overall load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to maneuver into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
When the selected shelf has been identified, the hydraulic forks swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into place. Usually, a reach truck would easily fit into an aisle that is less than 10 feet across with no trouble, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
